DAY 13 and a Friday to boot....

Look my hydrangeas  and yes they are HYACINTH
I wrote this late last night...LOL ( thanks for the notes lol)
have blossomed and the aroma that permeates
our home is really breathtaking.....
I had no idea they would be in pink and white
and they would blend sew well in their surroundings...
But they are and they do, and I was glad I had
a few moments today to capture some shots...

My studies has me at 62 hours of completed
assignments. And that is really the first 10 days.
My official  start date was January 17th,
-when my tutor saw how prepared I was
he said " why delay?"....I agreed...
What was I thinking ?lol

Truth of the matter, I love to learn,
always have, possibly my future
will mirror my present. No shock there..

Sew this weekend, I will rest  ( from homework tuts)
and sew up some wonky houses for a swap I am in...
Jane's Fabrics is hosting ....
and set out to design a few projects for an
up and coming ??? team I was asked
to participate in ....mmmm can't say much
more, but soon...

Anyway, this lady needs some sleep...
it is late and tomorrow is another day....

Thanks for dropping by....

Toodles

Beautiful flowers. We call those hyacinths in the South. I always think of Easter and the first greeting of nature emerging from the earth. God's welcome to Spring.

The hydrangeas are stunning Samm - wish I could smell them as well. Maybe someday computers will do that as well as everything else they do. :) blessings, marlene

Lovely collage of photos - and the songbirds to accompany? Perfect! Rest and rejuvenate, and we will welcome you back when you are ready! Put your feet up, pat your lap and invite Sumatra up, and sip your cuppa. Close your eyes and enjoy, my friend!
Hugs to you!

Beautiful...as is the lady that shares the photos... Thank you for grabbing the moment so I could stop and smell the flowers... Enjoy every restful moment until you next challenge your instructor, as I too believe you will be teaching him a thing or two. :). Hugs to you!!

Beautiful flowers..Its always nice to have something bloom in the middle of winter

You need to just sit near your hyacinths with a big cup of coffee and put your feet up. Turn up the music and grab a good book. What a great opportunity to relax!!!

The flowers are so beautiful. I wouldn't be able to have them in the house, the scent would send my allergies into overdrive, but at least I can admire yours.

Enjoy the study break. As usual I'm sure you will create some fun.

Those hyacinth's are so lovely and reminds us of God's Promise of Spring. We haven't had much winter and I would like a little snow before my spring showers. Get some rest and I've got to make some wonky houses for the same swap you're in over at Jane's Fabrics? Hmm? Now that she's closing her fabric store, wonder if she'll change her blog name?
Rest my friend

Left a comment over at Riley Blake about their BIG announcement - they are certainly lucky to get you onboard, Samm.

Another fun opportunity for you aside from all the time you work so generously on SewWeQuilt - you are one incredible lady !
