Oooh! mittens and slippers!
Anything would do... We can always use a bunch of good tutes.

I love the list you have so far. I am always looking for tutorials for table runners, placemats, or basket liners. I am still a novice when it comes to sewing skills, so tutorials of any kind tickle me to death.

Looking forward to your guest bloggers and what they come up to share with us.

Well, if you're going to have tuts on mittens and slippers.... how about a fab Santa Hat?? I'd love that. :-)

I like to see a tut for a nice wall hanging, one that could hang past the holidays.

Patty said...

I would like a few easy projects that LOOK hard so I can impress myself AND my family.

Gmama Jane said...

I agree with krislovesfabric...Embroidery Embroidery Embroidery Tuts.. I need some info on simple things like how many strands to use when/where, kinds of thread, needle sizes.brands, &Stabilizers!! Oh that's another area I'm needing help with. Stabilizers, interfacing, fusible vs, non-fusible. Wash-away vs. tear-away, weights of stabilizers. Surely someone out there has all the info we would ever need to know about Stabilizers. Sulky has some great stuff but I don't what to use where.

A tutorial or two on organizers, like a wall hanging/holder for rulers or maybe a roomy box/basket made from fabric or a pet bed/pillow or a candle mat/sleeve or decorative appliance covers...or
Hmmm. I have a fun idea and will try to work it out and then show it to you.

Good Morning!

How about a tute for some type of organizer for your end table to organize pins, thread, scissors, seam ripper etc when you are stitching. I have that stuff lying on my end table next to the chair and something always ends up falling on the floor.

Looking forward to this, it will be fun!

If you need another contributor, I can do a tut for mittens out of recycled sweaters. Let me know Samm.

Annie said...

If you get more tuts than you can use, can't you just put up more than one on a few of the days? Especially if they are short and simple ones. In this case, more can definitely be better!

Hi Mme Samm,

I am making a "kitchen shoji" that will sit on the counter and screen the appliances in that corner. I am making a fall-themed one and have a Christmas one almost done, too. If you would like a tutorial of it, please let me know...
