Bless STRESS = Creativity.

Yep a new look, and I have to thank
a no show guest on Monday at my other blog. You may have heard about it lol Sew we quilt wellllll this is what resulted from it all lol.
Seems when STRESS takes over I get
very CREATIVE.
I have concluded that I am going
to welcome STRESS more into my life...
The doors are open....lol

THIS IS how I was feeling....

But thank goodness I came to my senses and produced
this softer cuter image....I think this one would have scared you..
Heck, it was scaring me....
Shut your eyes quick..lol

To be honest with you all, I am all about
looking to the brighter side of everything...

I thought I would share with you my top 5  reasons
why I am going to start  embracing STRESS..

#1 It taps into my creative side
#2 It allows me to forget the belittling nastiness of some people
#3 It gives me something to post about
#4 It makes me laugh when it is all over
#5 It truly is a blessing (always good to know who
you are really dealing with)

Today I am going to work on a little LOVE
and stitch some of that creativity into this...
and be reminded of how much LOVE
there is in my world ..wink..

Now come on laugh with me...
I am reminded of my Nanny at times like these...
"My dear you will always be a target...remember to be a moving one"
( gosh she was smart)

SEW I will keep moving- I have
a  Ghastlie blog hop I am managing
in October...NOW that is NOT STRESSING me out at all...
I may have to change that lol.
WE know that seems to fuel my creativity...
mmmmm

and it is Friday morning...very early
and I am going to stitch for a couple of days
I am fine, I am happy and I am glad this week is over lol

Your alter ego up there is positively bewitching, Madame! (Groan....such a bad play on words!)
So sorry that you have been caused so much stress. We all wish we could give you a hug...right Sew-We-Quilters? (They are all nodding, can you see them? LOL)

I had to laugh Samantha, your worst days could be my best days. I love the new look, still inviting and yet so you too. You have to be the most creative person I know. Missing you. love Claudiaxx

Fun look with the wallpaper! My life is filled with more stress than I care to think about. Sometimes I just want to run away, but can't so I "gird up my loins" and do something productive and hang in there until another crisis happens...'cause it will!
Hope the rest of your week will be filled with stress free days.

Creativity comes to us in such unexpected forms! Stress comes from all directions...some so un-recognizable that we don't realize until too late that it is stress. YOU have the ability to turn your stress into something beautiful... thank you for sharing your creativity with us. I love your new look here as well...and am so pleased to be able to be a tiny part of your life. Have a wonderful week!

You certainly have lots of love and lots of creativity in your life. I am sorry about the stress, but I am happy that you are able to harness what could be negative energy and transform it into positive energy...and for sharing it with us, too!

I LOVE the new look here! How fun!!
I agree that stress can be good. I certainly work better under a deadline. (Hate stress, though. I'll try to improve my attitude!)

Super cute! Bummer that your Monday guest fell though.

Do you realize this looks like the old 60's TV show 'Bewitched'?? Remember in the opening theme when "Samantha" flies around on her broom?? It's Samantha, I tell ya!! Love it!! BTW, I always think you are so gracious to those "no-show" guests...much more than they deserve. No apology??? Just wondering? Oh well, WE Ghastlies do have our "spells" now don't we??
Blessings

You need a vacation! Love the new look though.....very cool! Sometimes the worse stress is the demands we put upon ourselves. Are you sure that's not your problem? When is the last time you have laughed so hard that you thought you'd pee in your pants? Can't remember? I thought so! Me too.......and you think I don't know what I'm talking about????

Deborah in Atlanta said...

Well we need to get that Ghastlies blog hop to start stressing you out so you can get more creative. Cuz honey, you are sew NOT creative. YEAH RIGHT!! I have no idea how you do all of this, but I'm glad you do. Can't wait to see what you're up to next!

I think putting the scarier image in might have been more productive and scared some people using common sense - lol!

Yes, it does look bewitching around here. This is a great way to deal with stress.

Love the new header. I just changed mine to a Fall theme this week. A little stress is good for the creative flow. A lot of stress is good for an appointment with a shrink. I'm glad that you were only "stood up" on Monday. Things can always be worse. Here's hoping to a semi-stress free blog hop.

Your header reminds me of Sabrina the teenage witch - lot less scarier than the alternative!

I love how you stress, that is a very productive way and is so much better then banging your head against the wall.
You have taken on a lot and you do it beautifully.
Love your new header. Great big hugs and Blessings Sandra

Belittling nastiness? It boggles my mind that anyone would project that towards you, M. Samm. It makes me truly sad for some people.

Great banner! (Glad you went with the less scary one... lol)

Way to keep your light shining in the dark, Madame Samm. I still like the saying that the word "stressed" is "desserts" spelled backwards. Sounds like you already know how to keep life sweet. Smart you! Hugs....

I caught up with you today!

I loved your inspirational writing to "Welcome" stress into your life! I was lamenting today about why I decided to paint my kitchen chairs outside while the wind was blowing 45 miles an hour and a rainy weather change on the horizon.

(Not to say anything about the family needing to sit on those chairs for supper).

YEP~ you gave me the answer....stress causes me to be more Creative! YEP!! Thanks for the well versed validation AND new perspective!

You are doing a great job!
Toodles.

PS: Any day now for Grandbaby #6 (family lives with us right now)....we want her to go until due date of Halloween or 11.1.11...but we will take her whenever she gets here!
